Saturnia Day SPA
In the heart of the Maremma Toscana, Terme di Saturnia is a thermal complex fed by a natural Spring that has been flowing continuously for over 3,000 years. A unique water, rich in natural elements and characterized by a strong antioxidant action, studied for its beneficial effects on the skin, microcirculation, and muscle relaxation. It is also possible to access Terme di Saturnia through Day SPA daily packages, without staying at the Resort.
The Day SPA is divided into two distinct areas, both fed from the same Spring:
Hot Spring Pools - 20,000 square metres of parkland equipped with outdoor thermal pools, sauna, vascular paths and whirlpools. A wellness experience to be lived in freedom, also ideal for families.
Club - a more private area that, in addition to access to the Hot Spring Pools, includes direct access to the Spring and indoor areas dedicated to relaxation. The ideal choice for couples and those who want more privacy and comfort.
A day immersed in the Blue Gold of Terme di Saturnia
The Terme di Saturnia thermal complex is fed by the same natural Spring, but access varies depending on the chosen package.
With the Hot Spring Pools admission, you have access to the pools and the outdoor areas of the equipped park. With the Club admission, you have access to both the Hot Spring Pools and the Spring, as well as exclusive indoor relaxation areas.

The basic entry formulas allow access to the Terme di Saturnia thermal complex for one day, without additional treatments or experiences. Hot Spring Pools and Club offer two different ways to experience the power of thermal water.

From Etruscan-Roman myth to modern thermal tradition, the Saturnia Spring has been active for over 3,000 years, with a constant, natural flow.
2. Hydrogen Sulfide
Sulfurous water rich in hydrogen sulfide, calcium and magnesium: a combination that contributes to the well-being of the skin, respiratory system and muscular system.
3. Thermal Bioplancton
An exclusive micro-organism that develops naturally in the waters of Saturnia, studied for its antioxidant and regenerating properties.
4. Benefits and Clinical Evidence
Balneotherapy in thermal water promotes muscle relaxation, stimulation of the
microcirculation and skin oxygenation, with documented effects.
The SPA world of Terme di Saturnia

Classical and signature massages, facial and body treatments with Thermal Bioplankton, silhouette technologies, cryotherapy, naturopathic treatments: the SPA integrates manual skills, innovation and cosmetic research into a single experience.
Treatments are available by reservation and accessible to both Resort and Day SPA guests.

Alongside the SPA, Terme di Saturnia integrates a medical approach dedicated to prevention, rehabilitation and functional recovery.
Specialist assessments, physiotherapy and hydro-kinesiotherapy in thermal water, instrumental therapies and personalized programs: a model that combines healthcare expertise with the benefits of thermal water.
Thermal treatments at Terme di Saturnia, also available under the NHS scheme
The thermal treatments at Terme di Saturnia are recognised by the NHS and are based on the properties of the sulphurous water naturally rich in hydrogen sulphide.
Among the main treatments:
- Mud balneotherapy

- Therapeutic balneotherapy
Treatment cycles are carried out on medical prescription in accordance with current regulations.
Bar and restaurants
Inside the Hot Spring Pools there is a bistro offering bar service, hot dishes and a sandwich counter: an informal and welcoming space where guests can enjoy a break between one thermal bath and the next. The service is available to Hot Spring Pools and Club guests.
For a more structured experience, guests can access the 1919 Restaurant and the Resort bar, open for lunch and dinner.
Packages including lunch or dinner combined with admission are also available. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
Directions on how to reach the thermal SPA
Terme di Saturnia is located in Loc. Follonata, Saturnia 58014 Manciano (Grosseto), Italy.
- From Rome: approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes (A12 motorway to Civitavecchia, then SS Aurelia and follow signs to Manciano/Saturnia).
- From Florence: approximately 3 hours (A1 to Firenze Certosa, then follow signs to Siena/Grosseto/Manciano/Saturnia).
Ample free parking available on site.
- Rail line to Grosseto or Orbetello
- From there, bus connections to Manciano and Saturnia are available, or a taxi/private shuttle service upon request.
Average travel time from Rome to Grosseto by train: approximately 2 hours.
- Nearest airports: Rome Fiumicino (FCO) and Pisa (PSA).
- From Fiumicino: approximately 150 km to Saturnia (about 2h30 by car)
- From Pisa: approximately 220 km (about 3 hours by car).
